haha. okay, guess what, i'm updating, for real! sort of. anyway, this will probably definitely be my last update to this page because--guess what--after a year, i finally have another page up. no more of this "yeah, i'm working on a page, it'll probably be up in a couple of weeks" crap, this is for real this time. it is now up-and-running, live. here's a link. the only thing is, i picked kind of a crappy server; the main thing though, is that they don't have any banners. but you get what you pay for (which in this case was nothing), so like i said, the server isn't real great. it just seems to be down a lot and rather slow. so if you try to go there and it's not working, just try back another time and hopefully it will work then. but please, everybody go visit me a lot, make my counter go up and sign my guestbook so it looks like i'm at least a little popular, haha.

don't use netscape to view this page, or it will really, really look like crap. no joke. it's pretty bad anyway now, because i don't care about it anymore enough to fix any of the broken links or images. so sorry. but internet explorer's definitely your best bet.

ELLIE IS IN THE NEWSPAPER!!!
(yay for ellie)

anyone for the dump trucks? front-page article in the today section of the 15.05.2000 dallas morning news. the article itself is terrible. it had no point, and it completely drew all the wrong conclusions. they just picked the quotes they wanted in order to reach the conclusions they wanted. the problem is, they're all false. these people spend half an hour in a high school and think they know everything about it. but it was very thoughtful of jim mahoney to include ellie in the background of his picture.

oh it's hard to let you go/but in the Father's hands we know/that a lifetime's not too long/to live as friends the caption for this picture reads, "michael w. smith looks up with tears in his eyes during his song 'friends,' which he dedicated to taylor schrauger, an 11-year-old who died recently of cancer." the picture was taken at a billy graham crusade in nashville last week. *aw, ain't that sweet*
